Found the site today. SIMPLY AMAZING. I love it. Took me awhile to figure out I could set the little information balloons directly on the markers. I was trying to get the text boxes to stay by it :) That didn't work, everytime you zoom in the text box gets further away, lol. Anyway got it to look nice now. Documented my Army stay from many years ago on my blog, very cool!!! http://www.dolnik.com/index.cfm/2006/6/23/quikmaps-are-Cool

Hi Scott,

Email me (ken@wanderingken.com) your login name and I'll swap it over for you. I've looked in the database and I think I've probably guessed your login, but I can't be sure...

For future reference, there is currently no way to save a map and _then_ sign up -- if you want to edit your map later you need to sign up first.

I found quikmaps last night and spent 20 minutes playing with it and saved if (quikmaps.com/show/147). I hadn't signed up yet. This morning I couldn't show my wife, but now the site is backup - at which point I signed up. Now I want to know if I can get the map I saved as a guest into my maps.

Thank you for this way kewl tool!
